In this busy life of ours between working and shooting off emails and so many other zillion small tasks most of us have completely lost touch with the concept of the simple and conventional thank you notes.  Thank you notes are a wonderful concept because most people like being appreciated. Thank you notes are a great way of letting people know that you actually notice the nice things they do for you.

And contrary to what you might believe writing thank you notes is much more easier than you remember. It would be a good idea to get some stationery, plain note cards or a selection of attractive postcards and some proper postage.

And make sure that you avoid buying those pre inscribed Thank you cards that contain loopy script. This is because there are many times when you might just want to write thank you notes where that aesthetic of a loopy script might just feel all wrong.
Instead it would be better to choose paper of your own liking. It might also be a good idea to stay away from full size sheets. And of course the simple note cards are the best. This is because you might want to keep your message brief, and it would look silly swimming around on a page that large.

And make sure that you store all of these stationery items in a place, which is easily accessible and preferably in plain sight. A safe place that you might remember could be the top drawer of your desk or on a bookshelf at eye level or below.
