Motivation and positive thoughts
|
|
Success and satisfaction thrives on
hard work and persistence. In order to go through life’s goings-on, it
is essential to foster positive thoughts. We may look at a mountain and
feel the trek is impossible but the photos show that we did climb a few
mountains during our planned treks. Similarly life’s mountains are an
uphill and the climbing is easy but staying atop means having healthy
thoughts. There are positive thoughts that are imbibed infectiously from our friends who encourage us. There is a positive response as we wave good bye to our toddler who anticipates an evening game of stacks. Many times expectations make us build positive vibes. When we want to do a project or a chore, we want an effective way to go about the same. A positive stroke improves our confidence level. Motivation is almost like a habit. One must be motivated during loss, illness and failures. There are downs in life and there is help by way of counseling or a vacation. It is fine to be in a soul searching mode and hence therapists often tell us to unwind and take half an hour off during the day to charge our mental cells. Motivation is also a spirit that is habitual in a person. This starts a mechanism that helps us cope with the pitfalls in our personal and professional life. Like the daily sunrise, there is hope and responsibility along with the same. One must break the mindset of negative thinking with the help of yardsticks that measure our progress. Progress is the way forward to go towards success. No path is easy and pessimism just restricts the journey. Detours are essential or taking a
different path is justified but the journey must go on. Learning new ways or skills or
unlearning old patters helps us stay positive in our outlook. When there
are hindrances our minds are taken aback. Visualizing a positive outcome
helps in many ways.
