Famous pop artists include Lin Jun Jie, Wang Lee Hom and Jay Chou. Great commendable work is done by Dr Larry Schulz in liaising with Chinese poets to create westernized pop music and yet retain the taste of Chinese lyrics.

C - pop is mainly bifurcated as Cantopop and Mandopop. While Cantopop is famous in Vancouver and Guangdong. Mandopop is more famous in Malaysia and Singapore. Chinese pop artists come from main China, Hong Kong and Taiwan and this is seen extended in Singapore and Malaysia where Chinese language is also used. The Japanese hints is seen in the Taiwan pop culture.

Famous pop artists include Alec Su, Fish Leong, Yoga Lin, Claire Guo and Cheer Chen to name a few. There are several rock bands like 2moro, Sweety, Tension and K one to list some of them.
