Teenagers Moral Behavior
- By the time your
children are teenagers you expect them to know right from wrong. But this
is a time when they are still questioning everything - sometimes this
means you!
- Young people need to:
- feel competent
- do things which
interest them
- know their strengths
- do what you expect of
them
- have control - to
wait, calm down when angry
- make decisions.
- They should care and be
able to:
- accept other people as
they are
- recognise and
understand their own and other people's feelings
- talk about feelings.
- They need to understand
the consequences of behaviour and to know:
- your expectations
- what will happen in
this event based on what happened last time.
- They will learn these
things by talking about:
- what they do and what
others do
- what you do, what you
think and feel
- what they think and
feel and why.
