mini trampolines

As the trapeze artist would jump in and out of the nets and make a
dramatic performance, uninjured, George Nissan was inspired. Those
circus rebounding nets inspired him to innovate the trampoline. This trampoline then caught the fancy of two American armed services who visualized its potential as an exercise tool. But it was only in 1988 around twenty years later that instructor J.B Berns brought the trampoline into the commercial market as a tool of a great exercise workout. 8 inches off the ground, with around 40 inches width these mini trampolines are also well known as exercise trampolines. Mini trampolines help exercise the body at the cellular level, hence besides muscles even the bones i.e. the entire skeleton is exercised. Hence rebounding helps in building bone mass and prevents osteoporosis. A few fitness centres do offer trampolines to exercise as they have abundant features. Moreover as mini trampolines have soft surfaces it is even beneficial for those with back and knee aches, as it does not emit shocks as against exercising on the floor. Running, jogging, walking can sometimes pass shocks to the bones that changeless it to the skeleton. Some are even passed to the disks thus aggravating the back problem. Instead exercising on the trampoline is fun and does not emit any shocks due to its versatile fabric and springs attached. Some mini trampolines come with a stabilizing bar that allows the exerciser to expand his exercise range. Additional balance is also procured form this stabilizing bar. One-fold mini-trampolines are also available so that they can be easily folded and kept in a corner. ~ author Lata S. Batra.
