Racing go karts are a favourite for many
enthusiasts. The pulsating action fills adrenalin. These open wheeler
sports, the generic name given comprises of many sub orders. Open wheelers
are vehicles that have their wheels outside the chassis.
As against the standard car that has its wheels within the car chassis. The open wheeler is built with a small cockpit that can accommodate only the drivers body. |

Thus streamlining the car to manoeuvre through the racetrack. The machine that is positioned exactly behind the driver controls the rear wheel. Wings too are attached to the front and to the rear of the car. The flat under tray gives further momentum to the vehicle.

Open wheeler racing go karts have different tracks too. Temporary street circuits, or oval circuits are a few of the types. The lightweight advantage and lightning speed make these machines the most desirable to toy with. However out of the many open wheeler categories available, only a few are publicly well known and indulged. The aerodynamic features of some cars do not let the following vehicle overtake thus obscuring the latter vehicles. Also the indispensable risk factor that makes bumping and sharp turns fatal in a few sub categories restricts their spread. |

In India, special permission from the Regional Transport authorities would be required to ply racing go karts on the streets.
