Symantec’s Norton Online Family...
Here are the
main points:
•You can be alerted via your email about the
blocked sites visited by your kids.
•Installation if free.
•You can use it anytime.
•It helps you to set internet time limits that
are so much important.
•Children speaking online to strangers can be
dangerous. Monitor recent chat conversations.
The program is an easy way to stay connected
with your children and have access to
information. Check their profiles on social
networks and the information they provide.
It is to be understood that children may clear
the history. But Norton Online Family helps you
get information that is latest.
This is a good way of seeking information and
keeping your child safe from online threats and
related dangers.
Though we appreciate the independence, the
program is just another way of setting a
communication line within a family.
Most important: Instead of being ‘spied upon’,
children realize the explanation that they will
have to provide to their parents. They prefer to
back off from temptations of logging into
blocked sites or sites that lure them to give
personal information.
The installation is simple and it also allows
you to prevent the problem of virus that easily
enters from blocked sites. Currently it does not
work on Linux.
As a parent, I would surely vouch for the
program by Symantec.
This is one
rule on parenting that is online and effective!
