With modern sports like water scooters, boat rides and other water joy rides, the tourists enjoy themselves. The sands and tides make the beaches interesting. The stay is easy with a choice or cottages or plush resorts as per the budget. The secularism in Goa is also excellent as there are temples, mosques and Churches all around Goa.
The famous Mangeshi temple is visited with pilgrims all throughout the year. A rare allegiance to lord Brahma is seen with a temple belonging to the early centuries. The Churches in Goa have a tranquil quality that is about the culture, ambience and architecture. The Cajetan Church and the Church of St. Francis D’Assissi are famous along with several missionaries and Portuguese churches. The galleries, archeological museums, parks and lakes attract several tourists throughout the year.
It is delightful to admire the local handicrafts, weavings in straw and catch a glimpse of village dance like fugdi, dash avtar or the contemporary styles owing to western trends.
