The invention of the electric bicycle is a variety in
itself as it comes in different designs and ranges that depend upon
various factors. As far as design is concerned all electric bicycles
have one feature in common that is they are not designed for long
distance ride. Range of the bicycle depends on the various factors such
as riders weight, tire pressure and style of riding. Weather condition also has an important role to play, so it becomes essential to keep it in dry place and secure environment. The ideal place where bicycle can be stored is a garage, which is properly covered. Beside garage and weather in order to keep bicycle in good condition it is important to do routine service. Some hobbyists, build their own electric powered Bicycles with bike kits while some prefer to buy them ready. There are ready bike kits which help convert any bicycle (electric or otherwise) into a tricycle ! Old-age people cover the major chunk of the user of electric bicycle and people who are suffering from disability such as paralysis beside disability and old age there are variety of medical condition which exist that require the use of electric bicycle. Even heavy weighted people can be seen using the bicycle quite often. Electric bicycle is also good for degenerating muscle disease and for broken or weak bones. Electric bikes consume less energy when compared to a mopeds, motorcycles or cars.
