motorcycle salvage

Motorcycle riders are sometimes called as nightriders. These nightriders love their motorcycles more than anything else. Its their royal chariot for style. But as all things don't last forever, even motorcycles have their share of death. A motorcycle survives up to a maximum of 10 years. Motorcycles end up in an accident, fire and mostly due to the arrival of new and better models of motorcycles in the dynamic world of automobiles. The question here is what happens to these motorcycles after that? These motorcycles end up becoming a piece of junk at the junkyards and salvage yards.

But that does not necessarily mean that they are all over. Scientists, engineers and even automobile wizards take the spare parts of these motorcycles away. These parts are taken from the motorcycle salvage yards and are used for research purposes and building new-age motorcycles, automobiles by amateur engineers.
Recently a bunch of engineering students in Karnataka ( India) built an 8 seater fuel-efficient vehicle. But a major twist of this invention was that this vehicle was built out of spare parts and automobile parts of motorcycles and other automobiles that were more than 20 years old.

Today, even though there are new motorcycles making their presence felt in the automobile market, there are thousands of junk lovers who scout out in these salvage yards in search of spare parts and gadgets with a view to build their own bike and maybe to give an extra touch to their existing bikes.

One of the best examples of motorcycle salvage is that of a motorcycle called Suzuki Shogun. The production of this motorcycle stopped many years back due to change in government norms.

But despite this, there are many crazy motorcycle lovers who still keep hunting at the junkyards for this bike due to its stunning and exceptional looks.

In Mumbai ( formerly Bombay) there is a place called C.S.T road in a suburb called Kurla that hosts all kinds of automobile salvage. Motorcycle salvage is also found at this place & trading is conducted in motorcycle salvage parts.
