The invention of the motorized scooter has become a
popular mode of urban transportation because of its two important
features that is size and weight. It is a motorcycle with a step through
frame in which the person sits. By law, these scooters are defined as
'any two-wheeled device that has handlebars, is designed to be stood or
sat upon by the operator and is powered by a motor capable of propelling
the device with or without human propulsion'. It is gaining more popularity in India as well as in countries like china and Japan. In India we can find wholesale suppliers more in Chennai and Tamil Nadu i.e. South India. Motorized scooters have engine near the rear wheel or axle and the size of the engine is also small as compared to the engine of the other scooters. Also the restriction what motorized scooter holds is fewer compared to others. Many genuine companies are established in the market for these kinds of scooters such as Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki. Push stand-up scooter, smaller kick stand-up scooter and many other are the varieties of motorized scooter but all the varieties have certain tings in common like sitting without straddling any part of the engine and the wheels which are smaller in diameter between 8-14 inches. Invalid and old people find these scooters easy to operate. In India, motorized scooters are easily available and to make sales more interesting events like tradeshows and regular auctions have come up. Most countries have seperate laws that pertain to motorized scooters. Motorized-scooters are certainly a lot of fun but can also be dangerous if not driven responsibly. ~ author Lata Batra
