Every year car manufacturing companies come up with new and better models of cars. These companies try to invent a better version of the car. But when new cars step onto the road what happens to the old car? They are sold and scrapped and most of the time land up at the car salvage yards. The maximum life of car goes up to 10 years.
That's because with new and better car model that has features like fuel-efficiency, low maintenance cost and value added feature strongly attract the customer towards buying it. This in turn means bidding farewell to the old car. Cars that end up at the salvage yards are opened and dismantled and the spare parts are sold.
Radial tyres are one of highly searched items at a car salvage yard. Other than that, leather seats seem to be a favorite when there is car salvage. That is because, leather seats are expensive in the open market. If you get one, you are considered lucky.
One of the best parts that are searched by most teenagers and young adults is the metal company logo. These logos are made out of metal (generally steel) and are usually placed at the front side of the car.
Teenagers and young adults search for these metal parts to give a lift to their car because a logo of a famous car brand defines a status symbol. The outer steel body of the car is take away by interior designing companies for giving a distinct look to designing studios, media office, advertising companies, and also for building movie sets, stages etc.
The exhaust fan, the steering wheel, the
gearbox, the machines, air conditioner etc are all taken away by local vendors to sell in the car
market for quite a good price.
