It is good to get the immunization done as advised by the doctor. It is usually given as the first dose after 2 years of age. Later, 2 doses in the form of booster are given. The doctor would recommend it through the regular immunization chart. Typhoid can be quite difficult if
contracted. Adequate rest and lots of water is advised but it can be
well protected if you have the vaccine done as per the instructions of
doctors. In case of any previous allergic reaction, the doctor will need records of the same so as to avoid an allergy trigger after the typhoid vaccination. By all means, it is best to carry safe drinking water and avoid indulgence of water and open food. The bacteria can start its incubation early and later cause the fever and other symptoms.
