Celebrating an Indian Christian marriage in a church involves decorating the church, the pews and getting ready the music that will flow during the ceremony. Christian wedding songs have a long history to its celebration in church.

From the classical piano and violin to new rhythmic beats provided by the versatile Casio organ or a guitar, together with the choir, make the wedding music sound phenomenal. It elevates the entire atmosphere to a level that brings some kind of peace within. Especially making the bride and groom feel special. Most parishes in India have their music songbook that encompasses songs for various parts of the mass.

However there are different songs to be sung during a wedding. The priest in concern will guide you on the songs to be chosen. Besides you can also select a range of Christian wedding songs from singers, music groups and others that offer a variety of wedding music cds and cassettes for you to choose from. Also there are many categories you can choose from too. These include popular songs, village songs, contemporary Christian songs etc. Besides, these music cds include the regular like the prelude, processional, recessional, traditional sacred songs and the other basic music that makes a wedding mass complete.

However in India, music cds for wedding masses are not very common as most of the bridal couples prefer the choir.But if you prefer the music cd then go right ahead. The music cd selected can be played in church and then at your home too. As they are very subtle and brings in a certain charm to the wedding environment.

However as there are too many songs in the market you need to check with the wedding official if you can play the songs you have selected. As commercial songs may not be allowed in the Indian church.
