wedding invitation verses

When planning a wedding, the wedding invitation takes priority.  After all, what is a wedding without loved ones and well-wishers. Indeed, a great deal of time is spent to find an appropriate design and wordings for the invitation as it certainly creates the first impression.

Wedding invitations over the years have stuck to the traditional format.  It is normally from the parents of the bride and groom or from the bride and the groom along with their parents inviting the guest to their celebration.

However, in the present day and age, wedding invitations have taken a bold step towards being wacky or sublime.  They come with poetic verses or verses from the Holy Scriptures of ones religion.

Some couple also shares an original heart-felt message on the invitation thus creating something really meaningful. One mandatory a wedding invitation should have is indicating to the guest the type of wedding that is being planned. This way the guest will feel comfortable and will enjoy the wedding ceremony and the reception. The wedding invitation verses are printed on beautifully designed cards with appropriate designs.

For traditional Indian marriages, the designs in the wedding cards have auspicious symbols or pictures of gods. The designer cards are made up of kundan meena work and silver lining. Scroll cards are made of handmade silk paper and tied with a silver tassel.  The possibilities are endless. ~ editor F. Peris. copyright indianchild.com
