For this craft, we need vegetables, like potatoes or lady fingers , a knife or melon baller , large sheets of paper ( or you even a paper grocery bag will do) , some paint and a paintbrushes.

To begin making our wrapping paper, first cut the potato in half. Carve out shapes, like a  circle, square, moon, star, or triangle. Ask an adult to help you if you're not allowed to use a knife. This may take a long time to do. You could also use a melon baller to carve a shape more quickly.

Then, paint the shape different colors and stamp it all over the paper in the design of your choice. You can print with all sorts of other vegetables too and come up with really interesting & designer wrapping papers, Christmas wrapping paper & more !  And maybe also start a small home business too !
