Wedding thank you notes are an etiquette that speaks aloud about the sender’s character to the receiver. Writing wedding thank you notes make the receiver feel they are valued and their gifts were equally valued. A thank you note has to be immediately written but in the case of a wedding thank you note it can be postponed to upto 3 months as the extra margin for the honeymoon is considered. However if you reply within 3 weeks, your note will be even more graciously received. If you postpone, it become more like a chore.

To make replying easier, keep someone in charge of the gifts. Writing it down is the best method as the notes attached to the gifts get misplaced. Put it down in a notebook that can be easily referred to later.
Wedding thank you notes, are mostly written on formal stationery. So you can purchase the note according to your budget. You also get pre-printed ‘thank you’ on the notes. These took look nice and formal. Thank you notes are available by the number in India. infact there are special houses that specialize in these type of cards. However purchasing a totally pre-written copy is not advisable as it loses the entire purpose of the note i.e. the personal touch.

Thank you notes have to be thoughtfully written which gives it the personal touch. Moreover if you can write how best you are going to use the gift the receiver will be even gladder.
