How to Lose Weight in a Week

Losing weight is no rocket science. Nor does it require you to spend loads of money on dieting and gymming. Walking is considered to be one of the best exercises for weight loss. A 45 minute brisk walk daily for a week combined with a nutritious diet will make you lose at least 1 to 3 pounds. Start your day one hour early and go for an early morning walk. Also do not start your day with tea or coffee. Having tea or coffee on an empty stomach is an absolute sin if you want to lose weight. Instead start your day with a fruit. After you finish your morning walk, start your day with a healthy breakfast. Never ever skip your breakfast because this is the most important meal of your day. To lose weight you will have to follow this simple rule “Eat your breakfast like a king, lunch like a common man and dinner like a beggar.”

For lunch, make sure you include green vegetables salad. This will balance your lunch. Also remember not to overeat. It is a better idea to eat less and then eat again incase you feel hungry after a few hours. Avoid deserts and any kind of oily food as much as possible. Drinking lots of water also helps in weight loss. Try and drink at least one glass of water every two hours so that it keeps your system regulated and body hydrated.

If you want to lose fast weight and see the results within a week, keep your dinner very light and eat as early as possible, preferably 7 – 8 pm. The gap between your dinner and bedtime should be at least 3 hours. Going to bed on a full stomach can cause weight gain. Hence, avoid going to bed directly after you have had your dinner.
